Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese ancestry, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Olivia was only two when her parents split up. Her family consisted of her stepfather as well as her mother who was also a United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised in Tokyo in Japan. Even though her family had moved from Oklahoma to various other locations but it was in Tokyo where she got the bulk of her education. At this point, she appeared in various local theater productions, and then began modeling in the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia moved back in Los Angeles after the family's returning in the United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actor. Through a string of small parts, Olivia landed a role after she was cast in the role of Mily Acua in the Hawaii filmed TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts G4 podcasts such as "The Daily Nut,"" "Formula D,"" as well as "Formula D." Her passion for surfing has been evident after the TV show Beyond the Break. Black belts are hers in Taekwondo. Her mother got married when she was just two years old to an Air Force Officer. Although the family moved around a lot, her mother raised her primarily in Tokyo in Japan, where she stayed with the military. Attending her at University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major, with minors of Japanese and drama art.
