Cassandra Monique Batie is a musician, singer and actress from the US. She is a specialist in R&B and soul. She has won the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of the numerous awards she's been awarded. She was also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra is not just an old-fashioned R&B singer, her gospel blues and jazz can be heard in a style which is effortless as well as sophisticated. The debut album of Andra Day, Cheers to Fall (2015) topped the R&B/hiphop charts. Additionally, her contribution in Marshall (2017) earned her the Grammy Award and Academy Award. She was born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day was raised living in San Diego and its metropolitan region where she sang in church and enrolled at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. After signing with Warner Bros. Records, she started working with producer Adrian Gurvitz on the album she released as her first "Cheers to the fall" (2015). The album included the track"Rise Up," which was an appeal to groups for justice across the globe. Day was nominated to win two Grammy Awards, including Best R&B Album. The United States against Billie Holiday is a concept recording about the legend jazz singer. It was released by Day in 2019. The same year, she was a part on screen in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), which is a biopic about Holiday's life. Andi matichak (born August 25, 1970) is an American actress. She made her television debut in series such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut in the role of Allyson Nelson on the horror movie series Halloween and its sequels. Andi Mattichak was born May 3, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
