Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one female who has ever won at the CrossFit Games two times. She was second in both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. The first female winner of the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. In addition, she is known for winning in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area along with her parents and siblings. At a very early childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and was a fan of doing exercises. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. Her first participation was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old of age (as in 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in 2009. She did well in her first races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. However, she was unable to win any awards but ended up in 11th place in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won an Olympic silver medal that same year. Because of her impressive performance, she was able to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie is the only woman to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" and has more than 1,000 subscribers. This is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
