Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American author of cookbooks who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It will air for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career by working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget, as well as other policy papers. Ina was initially enthused by the intellectual stimulation that came with her job, but soon lost interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty grocery store. The business was extremely profitable for over 18 years, until she decided to shut it down. After that, she started her first cookbook. Others followed, and so magazines too. In the meantime, she was also a part of the Food Network television show too started and soon became popular. Furthermore, she sells everything from kitchen equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina is an untrained cook who has never attended the cooking school nor had a job in the kitchen. Ina is well-known for her straightforward approach to cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment. Her most famous dishes are her lemon chicken with a skillet roast, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
