Ina Garten is an American chef and author and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002, has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she was bored and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her business a massive success, she sold it and began creating her first novel. There were many different cookbooks and magazines followed. While she was at it she also had her own Food Network show was also an enormous success. In addition, she sells a variety of cooking and food items to equipment and storage containers. Ina she never went to cooking school, nor did she be employed at an establishment. Ina is totally self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed manner of cooking as well as entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
