Zoe-perry
Perry is she is Chicago native, birthed to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on Roseanne, an ABC comedy Roseanne. She did not pursue acting as a career until after she had reached the age of adulthood due to her parents being afraid of the negative effects that stress could have. Perry says she didn't want to perform in highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity while at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she was offered small roles in shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness brought Perry home to California and theater roles were in demand. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her on Broadway in 2013 The father of her Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie together with her in the year 2015. Perry appeared nine times in the ABC film The Family, in 2016. In 2017, she was a part-time character in ABC's thriller about politics Scandal in which her father was the main character. She played the role of the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. The part was offered by audition despite the fact that she is a relative to the role.
